Due to Economic Sanctions imposed on Iraq, all delegates to the Conference are informed of

1.1Delegates can reach Baghdad
(a) By Air via Amman by Royal Air Jordanian and by Damascus by Syrian Arab Airline.
(b) By Road via Jordan/Amman and through Damascus/Syria
1.2 Those who are in need of transit visa for Jordan and Syria are kindly requested to start their procedures well in advance and to apply for the transit visa at their nearest Jordanian or Syrian Embassies according to their respective travel schedule.(Please check with your airline as some nationalities traveling by air/road to Baghdad and connecting flights from Amman airport may obtain transit visa upon arrival, provided delegates have a return air ticket and a valid Iraqi Visa in their possession).
1.3 Iraqi visa will be granted by Iraqi Embassy in your respective country or upon arrival in Amman and Damascus. Provided advance notice is sent to NASYO.
1.4 Delegates are reminded to send all their passports details and travel itinerary at latest 31^st January 2003 to NASYO General Secretariat in Baghdad.

2. The working languages will be English and Arabic.

3. Spaces for photographs exhibition, films and slides showing and placement of other documents and literatures will be provided free of charge upon advance request.

4. Delegates will be accommodated in Hotel Palestine, Baghdad.

5. Excursion programs will be arranged for delegates, including visits to Iraqi historical sites. Delegates will be given the opportunity to visit any cultural, social and educational places. Provided the request is made upon the arrival of the delegates.

6. NASYO will appreciate to have the participation of women among the delegation to the conference.
